The AgriSpin consortium ends with the termination of the project and AgriSpin as such will not be a partner offering services to others. However, the partners are very much available for sharing their experiences with the Cross Visit methodology.

The AgriSpin partners are ready to share the experiences gained in the project. It taught them a lot about what matters most in innovation processes with farmers and rural communities as well as what methods to use to explore this.

The Manual Is Available

The Cross Visit methodology was developed and adapted during the Cross Visits. The tenth edition of the manual is now available.

The manual is self-explanatory. Organisations or projects that wish to make use of it can follow its steps or maybe pick out elements for inspiration. However, when it is decided to use the Cross Visit-approach, it is advisable to involve colleagues from the AgriSpin consortium who have experienced several Cross Visits. They will be happy to share their experiences with the Cross Visit-methodology. Please bear in mind that it is also important to include a professional with facilitation skills.

Apart from this, the AgriSpin partners will continue to interact in different network compositions.

The Discovery Journey Continues

As part of the design of the AgriSpin project, the possibility was built in that the AgriSpin consortium might interest other partners in Europe to join forces in the search for approaches to stimulate innovations. The methodology that emerged from the Cross Visits would be valuable for such collaborative efforts.

Practice shows, however, that the current conditions for project funding leave little room for spontaneous actions. Still, the AgriSpin partners continue to work together and to look for opportunities in other compositions in order to continue the search for approaches that work. The AgriSpin experience has been valuable and the methods have provided innovation supporters with useful tools to do so.
